We are pleased to announce Kyoto Experiment 2020 will be held from October 10th to November 3rd, 2020. Kyoto Experiment is an international performing arts festival held every year in Kyoto since 2010. Mainly introducing experimental performance works from around the world, cutting-edge expression that transcends genres such as theatre, dance, music and visual art will be presented in Kyoto over a month. This year marks a new program launched by three co-directors: Yoko Kawasaki, Juliet Reiko Knapp and Yuya Tsukahara. The program will focus on expression that goes beyond existing forms and challenges new possibilities in the performing arts. In addition, the festival will offer various exchange programs with audiences and aims to be a platform for dialogue and thinking through the performing arts. We look forward to welcoming audiences to a new Kyoto Experiment!
