Fringe “The Useful Program”
Theater is useful.
In 2013, Fringe launches the “The Useful Program” curated by stage director Yoshiro Hatori. With the concept of “Theater is useful”, the program aims to demonstrate that the process of perceiving and recognizing theater can be applied to our day-to-day communication and relationships. Does “theater” need to be performed? Or does it have to take place in theater? What exactly are the components of “theater”?
