Kyoto Experiment Ambassadors + Public Relations Staff Wanted! (Deadline: May 7)

We are looking for “Kyoto Experiment Ambassadors” and “Public Relations Staff” who will, together with festival PR team, help publicize Kyoto Experiment 2019!
A: Kyoto Experiment Ambassador
B: Kyoto Experiment Ambassador + Public Relations Staff
＊Kyoto Experiment Ambassadors will work mainly on managing various events as well as the festival’s social media platforms.
◎ Work Content
A: Management of social media platforms (Japanese and English). Planning / management of events.
Example: Creating and posting Facebook, Twitter and Instagram posts. Writing articles for the festival website. Management of festival meeting point and PR events.
B: “A” work content (as described above) + general tasks related to publicity and operation of Kyoto Experiment
Example: General public relations’ tasks (updating website, distributing printed materials, event planning, etc). Ticket sales. Box office work.
◎ Contract Period
A: July 2019 to end of October 2019
B: June 2019 to end of November 2019
※ Start date negotiable. [B has the opportunity to re-contract]
◎Work Schedule and Hours
July = about 1 day per week (10:00-19:00)
August, September = about 2 to 3 days per week (10:00-19:00)
October = about 4 days per week (10: 00-22: 00)
Shift of 6 hours per day during the above hours.
June, July = about 3 days per week (10:00-19:00)
August, September = about 4 to 5 days per week (10:00-19:00)
October = about 3 days per week (10: 00-22: 00)
November = about 1 to 2 days per week (10:00 to 19:00)
Shift of 6-8 hours per day during the above hours.
◎ Contract Conditions (dependent on interview, work history and work content)
A: Outsourcing contract ¥200,000 (¥50,000 per month, including tax)
B: Outsourcing contract ¥600,000 (¥100,000 yen per month, including tax)
※ Transportation expenses considered separately (with upper limit)
◎Skills and Requirements
・ Must be available to work at the Kyoto Experiment office at the times outlined in the schedule above.
・ Basic PC skills (Microsoft Word, Excel).
・ Be able to communicate in English and Japanese (daily conversation level).
・ Experience creating content for platforms such as Facebook and Instagram is desirable.
• Experience in event management is desirable.
In addition to the requirements of “A” (as listed above)
・ Basic adobe illustrator and photoshop skills are desirable.
・ Office work experience desirable.

B: 1 person
・ Kyoto Experiment Office (Nakagyo Ward, Kyoto City)
・ Each performance venue (all in Kyoto City)

＜Social Media Content Task＞
Please choose one of the following artists’ from the Kyoto Experiment 2018 line up (Gisèle Vienne, Chikako Yamashiro, Satoko Ichihara / Q), and write 3 posts for social media (in English and Japanese), introducing the artist. Please imagine the image in these posts is the profile picture of the artist. Please write one Facebook, one Twitter (up to 140 Japanese moji and 280 English character), and one Instagram post in Japanese and English (a total of six posts). The format of the way these posts are presented is free (text only is acceptable).
