In MANUAL , a single performer guides the audience on a sensory journey through the space of a library. In this talk, Canada-based artists Adam Kinner and Christopher Willes discuss the making of this intimate and personal work, as well as their experiences performing it in public libraries around the world. How do these two artists perceive the world through listening, a practice central to their daily creative process, and what does listening mean to them?
