How can artists meaningfully engage with history and politics through their work? Mark Teh’s work often addresses historical and political themes, including his piece Fragments of Tuah, which explores the figure of a legendary Malay hero. In this workshop, he shares his thoughts and practice. What does a creative process shaped by extensive and meticulous research look like? We especially welcome theater professionals—directors, playwrights, actors, and producers—to take part in this rare opportunity.
Facilitator: Mark Teh
Participants: Playwrights, directors, producers, actors and others actively involved in theatre
