FOuR DANCERS, a project by dancers, for dancers, has been staged over 200 times since 2011. Its 230th edition features Makoto Saito, who won the 2021 ACA National Arts Festival Excellence Award for Makoto Saitoh’s world vol. 9: Romeo and Juliet, performed at the Itami Ai Hall last October; Sanae Kuroko and Eiichi Kimura, who have been active in Kyoto for many years; and Haru Otani, a choreographer and dancer who recently appeared in works by Miwako Natsume and Pijin Neji.
