On Self-Introductions (the first work in the series The Defeat of Dialogue)
When one is speaking to someone else and tries to communicate something to them, one comes up against a question: who is the “I” (or “we”) who’s speaking? I (/we) am now trying to communicate something through theater, but first, I’d like to stop and think about who I (/we) am, and what it can mean to say something about myself (/ourselves) to another.

The Defeat of Dialogue
Theater was once an art of dialogue. However, dialogue has been defeated; the war is over. If this is the case, has theater been defeated? Does the defeat of dialogue mean the defeat of theater? Has dialogue really been defeated?
