Kai Ariana Rotschild
white butterfly
In this performance, dancers undergo a transformative journey. They bury a white butterfly, experiencing grief, acceptance, reincarnation, and celebration. Through absurd connections and hints of humor, they merge worlds and convey profound messages. Pushing physical and mental limits, they explore nature and bridge reality and fantasy. The choreography weaves rituals and temples, inspired by the butterfly’s self-burial symbolism, inviting contemplation of the body’s temporary existence.
