Covid-19 Measures at Kyoto Experiment 2022
In order to ensure the safety of visitors, artists and festival staff, Kyoto Experiment will take measures to prevent the spread of Covid-19 in accordance with The Association of Public Theaters and Halls in Japan and the guidelines in place at each festival venue. Please note the contents of the festival program may change depending on the spread of Covid-19. Full details and the latest information on measures to prevent the spread of Covid-19 will be published on this page. Please check here before visiting the festival.
Please check the below information before visiting the festival.
Before visiting the venue:
・ If you have a fever, sore throat, signs of a cold or are not feeling well we kindly ask you to refrain from visiting the venue.
・ Please wear a face mask when visiting festival venues and watching performances.
・ Please note that due to ventilation measures at venues and in the theaters, the temperature in the auditorium may be variable.
At the venue:
・ Please cooperate with temperature measurement with a non-contact thermometer upon entrance to the venue. Please note you will not be admitted if you have a temperature of 37.5 degrees celsius or above.
・ Please disinfect your hands upon entrance to the venue and maintain social distance.
Kyoto Experiment is also taking the following measures:
・ Notices of measures taken to prevent the spread of Covid-19 are displayed at the venues.
・ Venues are regularly ventilated.
・ Hand sanitizer is installed at venue box offices and lobbies.
・ Door handles, handrails, chairs and tables are regularly disinfected.
・ Box office and theater staff will carry out their duties wearing face masks.
After the performance:
・ Please refrain from meeting with performers and staff.
・ After the performance, we kindly ask you to leave the venue without stopping in the lobby. We may also ask audience members to leave the venue in sections.
Providing contact information:
・ In general we will request audience members to provide their name and contact number.
・ In the event that a person infected with Covid-19 is found to have been present at a festival venue, the festival will promptly report and share the name and contact number with the local public health center. Personal information received is not used for any other purpose. The information will be kept for four weeks and appropriately deleted.
