The voice of the voiceless gets erased by the sound of people every time it appears as wave. Yet, now, there are only bones here. No meat is put on.

This is an installation work using a sound system with shells having nacre and the projected waveforms which are created by the sound system. By playing the sound files of the recorded voice, breath or the sound of wave through vibration speakers, shells resonate, and it appears as waveform which we see being projected. Yet, if visitors speak loudly, small waves from the sound of shells are wiped out immediately. Shellfish are caught by fisher. Jesus says, “I will make you fishers of men.” Fisher’s work is often seen as men’s work. And shellfish are sometimes compared to women or female genitals.
