Future Dictionary
Future Dictionary is a project initiated in 2023 by Ophelia Jiadai Huang—a curator, artist, and researcher based in Shanghai—and runs in collaboration with Kyoto Experiment. Together with artists and curators in Asia, it explores artistic concepts that exist in languages other than English, the world’s lingua franca, as well as local artistic practices related to those concepts. This exhibition, which will run for only one day, will present documents from the project to date alongside reflections written by participating members. Huang will be present at the venue between 11:30 and 13:00, so we invite you to share your thoughts and feelings with her.
