Nuit Blanche Kyoto 2024

Held every autumn by the city of Kyoto and the Institut français du Kansai, Nuit Blanche Kyoto is an art event that originated in Kyoto’s sister city Paris. This edition’s theme is “Transmission,” in recognition of the 30th anniversary of France’s Maître d’art system, which was launched in 1994 along the lines of Japan’s concept of Living National Treasures. A variety of artworks—performances, installations, exhibitions, and more—by Japanese and French artists will be held across the city.
