Due to the Jidai Matsuri festival on Thursday, October 22, traffic restrictions will be in place around the Okazaki area.

Heavy congestion is expected around ROHM Theatre Kyoto ahead of the 4:00 p.m. performance of “Echoes Now.” Bus routes will also be diverted, and some services will be suspended, so please allow extra time to get to the theater and plan ahead if you’re attending multiple performances in one day.

☞ Restriction Periods
2026. 10.22 (Thu) approx. 12:10 – 16:00
In case of rain, the festival will be held on 10.23 (Thu), and the restrictions will be postponed accordingly.

☞ Bus Routes and Stops
Due to the traffic restrictions, bus routes and stops in the area around Marutamachi-dori, Shijo-dori, and Heian Jingu Shrine will be affected.
Please note that buses will not stop at the bus stop in front of ROHM Theatre Kyoto, where “Echoes Now” will be presented. We recommend traveling by train.
