something tactile is an exhibition by Takuma Imao who makes works in the fields of fine art and music by treating sculpture from the materiality of sound.
This exhibition will be held at a record shop “Parallax records”, which has been introducing recordings from around the world, mainly noise music and experimental music, for more than 30 years since its start in 1992, to present works on bodily senses mediated by hands.

In a world where, as we touch repeatedly, the body changes into something for the things that are touched for the first time, the shape of hands metamorphoses further than we can see.
On the other hand, we forget this metamorphosis and unconsciously choose gloves from size S, M, L or XL.
If the recorded discs at the record shops are the passages to sound spaces somewhere, what are the hands of someone who have produced those sounds thinking about?
