Passes and Ticket Sets

Q.1Can I buy the 3 Performance Pass, Student 3 Performance Pass or “Winterreise”+ 2 Performances Set even if I have not decided which performances or performance dates I want to see?

A.1No. Customers must select their choice of performances and performance dates for the pass when they make their purchase.

Q.2Can I buy the Festival Pass even if I have not decided which performances or performance dates I want to see?

A.2

Yes. After you have purchased the pass, please reserve your choice of performances and dates through our online form. It is also possible for pass holders to attend a performance without reserving a seat, though a seat is not guaranteed. Since some performances may sell out, we recommend always reserving a seat.

Q.3Which performances and events can I see with the Festival Pass?

A.3Pass holders may attend all 10 performances in the Official Program once. A Festival Pass does not allow entry to the Fringe: Open Entry Performance programs or any other ticketed events.

Q.4Can I attend the same production multiple times with the Festival Pass, 3 Performance Pass or “Winterreise”+ 2 Performances?

A.4No. Pass holders may only attend each production once.

Q.5Can I share my Festival Pass, 3 Performance Pass or “Winterreise”+ 2 Performances?

A.5No. Passes are only valid for a single pass holder.


Collecting and Paying for Tickets

Q.1Where can I pay for and receive tickets?

A.1[For customers who have reserved single tickets or pair tickets]
When reserving online, payment must be made with a credit card.
No other forms of payment are accepted.
Please pick up your tickets from the venue box office before the performance.
Please give the order number and the name used at the time of the reservation.
When reserving by phone, payment must be made in cash through the convenience store Seven-Eleven. There will be an additional booking fee.
Please note payment cannot be made by credit card.
Tickets must be collected at the nearest Seven-Eleven convenience store.

Please pick up your tickets from the venue box office before the performance.
Please give the name used at the time of the reservation.
Payment must be made on the day of the performance.
Please be aware payment is accepted in cash only. No other forms of payment are accepted.


Other

Q.1I am no longer able to attend a performance for which I purchased tickets. Can I change my ticket?

A.1We are not able to accept changes or cancellations after tickets have been purchased.

Q.2Where can I buy tickets on the day?

A.2Tickets are sold at the door from the box office at each performance venue. Tickets go on sale sixty minutes before the performance starts. Please also check the official Kyoto Experiment Twitter account for the latest information on ticket availability on the morning of each performance. The number of tickets available to individual customers is limited. Tickets are available on the door on a first come, first serve basis.

Q.3Are there performances with surtitles in English or other languages?

A.3The following performances have English surtitles or are performed in languages other than Japanese:
