Premiered in Osaka in 2024, this a new staging of See You on One Good Day. The cast features a father who has long worked as a visiting psychiatric nurse and his son, who is an actor. Their sessions re-enact onstage the care provided by a visiting nurse to a patient. The nurse father tries to understand the minds of others through dialogue, while the actor son plays a version of himself. Their conversations occupy a liminal state straddling both their professional relationship as nurse and actor and their private relationship as parent and child. They search for the universal bonds they share with others while also confronting the reality of growing old together.
