Experiment: How would contemporary art performance goers perceive traditional performing art?

A classical Japanese theatre program featuring noh play Kokaji and kyogen play Kaki Yamabushi accompanied by English introductions by specialized guides and experts.

This year’s plays are specially curated to explore the intriguing dynamics of secular and sacred interpretations of religion in traditional theatre by choosing plays that feature religious context from contrasting perspectives.

We are looking forward to welcome out-of-the-box audience to the show.

There will be after-talks with performers after every performance and on 10.28 there will be an Imagine Noh Share Cafe after the performance.
